Had my first dress fitting today and amen and hallelujah my dress fit! (I was so worried it would need to be taken out). It needs to be hemmed and bustle added but while I was there I tried on a belt I had purchased second hand to see if it would work. I honestly can’t say whether I like it better with or without a belt!! Or if a different ivory belt would be even better. Opinions?

I think the dress is beautiful the way it is and once you are made up with jewelry and a veil I think you don’t need a belt.

I think it looks good either way. It actually blends in with the dress really well and doesn't look like a belt. I was expecting something more contrasting. Not that it's a bad thing, I was just surprised.

I found that say a fully rhinestone belt cuts me in half but having the ivory match my dress accents my waist instead. 🙂

I have to agree with you! I think it looks fine with the belt. I couldn't even tell it was a belt, either. But honestly, it works either way.

I think I like it best without the belt. The belt is beautiful though so you can’t go wrong either way!

No belt! The dress already has the satin at the waist which accentuates it. So no need.

I guess I'm in the minority. I actually like the flower belt. It goes so well I didn't even realize it was a belt at first.
