Belly button shows in dress ugh!

My dress form fitting to my mid thigh. My issue is that my belly button shows through my dress. I’ve tried a couple of different undergarments like quality spanks but they either roll down or you can tell that they’re on from the seams. My seamstress mentioned the old school way of a bandaid and a cotton ball, but I’m honestly worried I won’t have enough to suck me in or it might still show. I was going to try body tape either wrapped around me or just over my stomach, but I’m really worried about sweating too much in that area with tape. What are some ideas that you might have tried or know about?

A cotton ball and Bandaid should help hide your belly button as long as it an innie and not an outie. I think body tape would be too uncomfortable all night.

I actually decided to go with body tape and a cotton ball. I tried it on with my dress at my final fitting. I found breathable tape that is also boob tape on Amazon

I know this thread is from years ago, but I'm commenting in case any future brides stumble across it looking for a solution!
I actually created a product specifically for this issue called Belly Button Box. It's a reusable silicone patch designed to smooth the appearance of your belly button under fitted dresses, without having to use cotton balls, Band-Aids, or nipple covers.
