Belly button shows in dress ugh!

My dress form fitting to my mid thigh. My issue is that my belly button shows through my dress. I’ve tried a couple of different undergarments like quality spanks but they either roll down or you can tell that they’re on from the seams. My seamstress mentioned the old school way of a bandaid and a cotton ball, but I’m honestly worried I won’t have enough to suck me in or it might still show. I was going to try body tape either wrapped around me or just over my stomach, but I’m really worried about sweating too much in that area with tape. What are some ideas that you might have tried or know about?
