belly bands & invitation inner envelopes

Belly bands will look great on pocketfolds, sorry I have no tips on how to make them... In terms of what to put on the belly bands, personalizing each invitation will probably require much more time, effort, and labor than you think, so I would lean toward keeping them plain or just your names. Another reason I would shy away from personalizing the belly bands is that the invitations are about the couple and their upcoming wedding, so having guests names on them might take away from that. As a guest, I would find it odd to have my name on the outside of the invitation. If you want to add a personalized touch, why not have it in the wording itself, like "Guest(s) is/are invited to .." or "Host(s) invite Guest(s)..." it would still more work, but less fuss than personalizing the belly bands (I am assuming you are printing these yourself). Thanks evergeneva. thats kinda what i thought too...i have seen them done both ways on some of the knot bios....but like you said i think it will be easier and make more sense to have our names/monogram on the outside
