Behind on Thank You Notes!

Sarah, on June 24, 2019 at 8:52 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6
I’m happily married now for 2 weeks Smiley smile, and will be getting back from our honeymoon in about 5 days. I’m wondering everyone’s thoughts on a dilemma I’ve gotten myself into. We had 2 wedding showers within a month before our wedding. We had some people give us gifts at both events AND wedding gifts (family and close friends who we told they didn’t have to give us gifts for everything but they insisted they wanted to). We are SO grateful for the gifts and sweet gestures and I, of course, am going to write notes when we get home. Unfortunately I ran out of time and got behind on writing seperate notes for each gift, and it seems redundant to write a separate note for each gift since I’m mailing them at the same time. Can I just write one long super thank you note?

I agree! I think one note is fine, there’s no reason to write a plethora of notes for the same person. I would just be sure you address each thing

Congratulations on your marriage Sarah!! I hope you are having a wonderful time on your honeymoon! Where are you?

To answer your question, of course! There is no need to write multiple notes to the same person/family.

You will also save on envelopes!!😉

I think one note would cover that! It's the sentiment of the thank you that's important Smiley smile
