We have a bartender and we’re putting open a sign at the wedding that says “Open beer and wine bar”

We didn’t put in on the website or invites or anything, but we did have a bartender and had a bar menu.

We are doing beer and wine only. We plan to put up a sign at the reception with all options listed. Our venue requires a bartender. We didn’t list beer and wine only on the invite or website.

No, there’s no need to tell people what beverages you’re serving. You would only need to mention the bar if it was a cash bar so that guests can bring money. Yes, we’re having a bartender. We don’t want to be liable if someone drinks and drives.

Our venue required a licensed bartender so we hired thru them.
I've not ever seen the bar listed anywhere on an invite or website. If you show up and it's a cash bar, you pay cash, if it's just beer and wine, that's just the way it is.
We're buying our alcohol thru a local grocery chain.

I recently went to a wedding that was beer and wine. they didn't put it anywhere, just menus at the bar with the beer and wine choice. they also did a his and hers cocktail. they had 2 bartenders.

You don't have to mention it on the invite. Beer & wine is easier to serve without a bartender, but I always think it's nice so people aren't free pouring.

I am considering this. There is a barn that looks so nice but it's beer and wine only. I had mentioned to future in laws that it might be an option for us and they didn't seem to like the idea to much and pretty much said liquor is needed but this was before I found this place that I really like. I don't really agree with this. I am considering a beer and prosecco food truck. It would have 2 or 3 beer taps and 1 prosecco tap then I would have bottles of red and white on the tables. I saw a Facebook picture of the venue and there was a bottle of bourbon in it so I don't know how strict they are, but I don't really plan on hiring bar tenders if I get the food truck so don't know how that would work.
