BeDazzle My Bon Bons

poppyaka, on May 8, 2010 at 11:56 AM Posted in Planning 0 14

Has anyone used or know of anyone who may have used these for party favors?...I think they are adorable but I would like to know if anyone has had problem with shipping, the taste, etc?

If you don't mind me asking, did you find a price for these? They look cute and I have also been playing around with a few ideas for favors.

I'm thinking about getting the one piece without the box, I'm waiting for FH to come home so we can taste them together.

We ordered them, but chose not to use them.

They were very pretty, and shipped well BUT

our wedding is 8 hours away, and on our drive there, they exploded in the car! Not melted...EXPLODED. I had put them in a ziplock, still in thier boxes, and chocolate and glitter covered the whole inside of the ziplock by the time we got there! And it was not a hot day at all, it was under 70 degrees in the car.

If you are having this in the town that you live in, they could be pretty, but if you have to transport them anywhere, I would say NO. I cannot imaging how upset I would have been if that had happened on my wedding day, as opposed to just bringing them down for my family to try.

Hold on, I have a picture:

it was very funny at the time, but would have been awful if it happened at the wedding

Those are so stinkin cute!! About how big are they? I'm just wondering if I could get away with putting 1 each in my favors(we're doing very small, simple favors).

They used to give free samples for just the cost of shipping so you might call and ask about that if you are still interested. I haven't ordered mine yet but I probably will!

Color of love is correct...they do give free samples, just pay for the shipping unless you have a UPS account it's free...

We tasted the mint and dark chocloate flavors tonight and they are sooo good...I def am going to use these, I just hope I can find little boxes at Michaels to put them in and decorate them like they have theirs in...

Please let me know about how wide they are! The website just refers to them as a bite, but that doesn't help much!
