I was at a bridal show on Sunday. I filled out a registry card for BB&B for more information - I gave the girl half and I kept the other half. As I am reading the "fine print" it says on there that STORE CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN IN THE EVENT OF A RETURN WITHOUT RECEIPT OR PACKING SLIP". Yep, they no...

Yep, they no longer give cash for items purchased for your registry that you want to return. Here is it on their website too...

Gifts

For gifts sent back to our returns processing center, we will issue a merchandise credit which can be used in any of our stores nationwide. Please provide the original packing slip included with the shipment so we may expedite this process. If you do not have the original packing invoice, please call us at 1-800-GO BEYOND® (1-800-462-3966) for assistance in returning Bed Bath & Beyond gifts you have received.

Why are people so disgusting? I mean, damn. This is why they don't give cash anymore - they have pay for dressing room poopers too?...gee wiz.

You do know that many people purposefully skip gas stations or other "not as clean" restaurant bathrooms to go to stores like Kohl's, Lowes, Target, etc. to take a crap and leave? If you have a nice bathroom in a retail store, you better believe you'll have gross people using them to escape other gross bathrooms, but they still do gross things in the CLEAN bathrooms.

I'm not kidding..... that's my husband. Actually, that's every man I know. They refuse to crap in a bathroom that doesn't meet their standards. So they typically wait for their trip to Lowes or a department store do a number 2.

That is how my friend;s husband is. I was visiting them in Dallas, and we were eating at this burger place. I didn't visit the restrooms, but I assumed that they would have been decent (the place was very well kept but small). When we left, he ended up driving away from the highway (when we needed to go towards it), and he pulled into a hotel parking lot, and hopped out of the car. Turns out, this place is one of his favorites for going #2 when he is not close to house. I could NOT believe that he did that!

Edit: But I guess the hotel should be grateful that he is a clean guy? Or at least I hope he doesn't act like a monkey and smear shit all over the walls. :/

I worked at bed bath and beyond 10 years ago and we did not give cash back on refunds for bridal registries unless the bride and/or groom has the purchasers original receipt and the purchaser paid in cash. All others were store credit or exchange. No the rules were not bendable.

I worked at Aeropostale when I was in high school and college. We only gave funds back in the form of which the customer paid. Gift receipt=store credit. Always. I will say though that Aeropostale will take back anything. You could bring in your 2 year old shirt, that was washed 200 times and was filled with cigarette smell and I would still have to take it back. (I left in 2007, so I'm not sure if the policy has changed since)

I will also add the Express will not take any thing back if you don't have a receipt. They won't even let you exchange it for another size. They are seriously aholes.

I worked at toys r us years ago. We did the same thing with the lowest price in the last 90 days without a receipt. People got PISSED.

Gross return story!! So when we got returns, we had to check them thouroughly to make sure nothing is missing and most of the time the items would just go back on the floor. I was working customer service one day and an extremely pregnant lady came in all crying and upset. Turns out she had purchased a diaper genie that had apparently been returned (without being checked) and put back on the floor and there were dirty...freaking....diapers inside of it. She was setting up her nursery and found them. OMG....nasssssty.

We had a woman pee in the dressing room. My other associates too swore that before I started working there a man took a dump in the men's dressing room. Gross. Thanks for bringing up these horrible memories, guys!

Uh, so, I've got a good one. When I worked at VS, we had a couple who decided to get freaky in one of the fitting rooms. She snuck him in when myself and the other associate back there were in other rooms doing fittings, and we heard them. They had a police escort waiting for them when they got out. A-holes.
