I think it’s absolutely gorgeous! My mom kept trying to play down my wedding dress for our 1 year anniversary wedding post Covid. Sorry mom, you’re being veto’d. I didn’t wear an elaborate dress for our minimony to save it for this.

Thanks! It’s been tough as I realize other people’s opinions do matter or weigh on me, even though I don’t want them to. I really want my mom, my husband, etc. to love my dress, but I guess at the end of the day we have to be happy too!

I have an Oleg Cassini off shoulder ‘soft’ mermaid with a lace train in white.

This first picture was shortly after picking it up and taking it home... using StillWhite. I’m holding it in the back because it was a tad bit big in the hips at the time.
I don’t have the greatest pictures in it... so I really can’t wait until the photographer and videographer capture it in the sunset. This one is from 6 months ago. It was exactly everything I was looking for in a dress.
First fitting was about three weeks ago. The seamstress worked wonders with the lace train. I had lost 10lbs from that first picture so the sides had to be taken in as well.

Absolutely not! Never too much! Is that a stella? I love stella york. So pretty. Love your dress and I think it fits a beach wedding fine. You don't have to go sheath and understated just because you're at a beach. I think this is the perfect amount of glam and romance for beach nuptials. You look amazing in it trying it on! You can't pass it up for the real day!

The drama that dress brings is amazing! Not too much and makes you shine like a crown jewel.
