Battle of the Ball Gowns!

Thanks to all of the wonderful and awesome people who commented on my post yesterday about my dream Pnina Tornai ballgown, it helped a lot! Although that dress is still stunning and in the running, I watched the newest episode of SYTtD last night and some more beautiful ball gowns that are a bit more understated. I am still planning on a beach wedding and want to keep the dress on the simpler side with minimal detailing. The Pnina gown from yesterday is still on the table because the corset is the only part of the dress that has the beading, etc., and I also have tattoos (sleeves) so I want to keep the dress less busy as to not have a ton of stuff going on. 😊 I have attached the “Dream” Pnina gown again, as well as two others. The one with the tan background is the Hayley Paige “Loretta” gown, and the one with the dark grey background is another Pnina Tornai, this time from the “Love by Pnina Tornai” collection and it’s style 14601. So, it has come down to three! I realize that the HP and the other plain Pnina gown are very similar, but it comes down to the skirts on all 3! What does everyone think? Battle of the Ball Gowns! 1

These dresses are very pretty, but I'm not sure they really would be a good idea for a beach wedding. I wore a ballgown and they are rather warm so unless you are getting married when it's cool outside I wouldn't want to wear a ballgown at the beach. Mind you I got married in like 100 degree weather, but it was inside with air conditioning and I was still warm. I would also be considered about sand ruining your dress.

I'm a Hayley Paige bride myself and think she is an amazing designer. So, I vote for Loretta! It is also my favorite of the 3 gowns you posted!

I would seriously go try some on if you can! And choose the lightest one for your beach wedding. I think the weight and the feel is going to make all the difference
Still love the Pnina dress though!

I like the second dress option! I think a simpler dress will help your tattoos stand out and be better for a beach wedding.

I'm still in love with the bodice of your dream dress and I like the skirt of the HP dress. Too bad you can't combine them lol. Or you can always take away layers off the skirt of your dream dress to make it less fluff and easier to manage as well so that's always an option. I just don't know how much of a ballgown it would actually be anymore if you did that though lol. If I had to make a full dress choice though, I'd say HP.

I know! Ugh! Lol! It’s going to come down to a ballgown or a mermaid gown, both are so gorgeous. I love both silhouettes! I’m leaning towards the HP gown as well, I like the simplicity of it and the simple “folds” at the top of the bodice. The dream Pnina gown is great, but it would be a LOT of dress!

Very true but that bodice is still so amazing lol. HP would be great and it looks so light and you wouldn't have to really worry much about removing layers. The flow of it on the beach will look gorgeous!

Hayley Paige all the way! That dress is gorgeous and I think the simplicity will complement your tattoos very well and it will probably even give you some flowiness on the beach

Thank you! . I keep watching the new episode of Say Yes to the Dress that features that gown, there is just something about it! I’m definitely all about the understated elegance of a simple dress. I’m also in love with the bodice!
