Bartender cost

Hi all! How much are you paying for your bartender? How much do you think is fair? I am hosting 120 people in Chicago and we will have two bartenders. We have three signature drinks (no blenders or flames required) and beer and wine for 4 hours. Any idea how much we should pay for this? Thanks!

    Our bartenders were included with our catering costs... have you talked to your caterer?

    Yea they're not including them. I'm trying to support small, women, LGBTQ, POC owned businesses.

    Your caterer will know bartenders though. They will have worked with them through events. Talk to your caterer and ask them to refer you. You need someone who is licensed.

    I agree with Jessie... your caterer should be able to help you find licensed bartenders.

    I don't know how helpful this is but... I paid $35 an hour per bartender (this was part of my catering contract though). This did not include tip.

    ETA: I think they charged 1 hour for set up and 1 hour for breakdown too...

    I found a company. 2 bartenders for $320. Thumbtack is pretty awesome for these things I'm finding out.
