Melissa, on July 11, 2019 at 6:04 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 8
So we already know we are serving moscato at the wedding bc it's our favorite... however I need help in deciding what type of barefoot red wine to choose and what type of dry white barefoot wine to choose.. we are getting married in October! Thanks

I love Barefoot wines!! So yummy!

For the white, I'd go with their Pinot Grigio. It's light and refreshing, and not too fruity. For red, I like their Merlot.

These are wines I buy/drink regularly at home, so I think most people will like them.

Is the pinot considered a dry white or sweet white

I'm not 100% sure, but I would guess a dry white. It's not so dry that it gives you that pucker though. lol It's really light and crisp. I use it a lot for cooking, as well as just drinking. Anytime I need a white wine for a sauce, or a vinagrette, that's my go-to.

If you're not sure, about the red or the white, you could always get a small bottle for yourself and try them before you have to make the decision.

I really like barefoot sweet red blend and Pinot noir best (and red moscato!). For dry white, I think Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, or Sauvignon Blanc. I love barefoot wines in general, though. What kind of food are you serving? That should help you choose which wines will be best.

I agree that Pinot Grigio is a grey white, I would but it on the middle of sweet and dry, crisp is how I would describe it. I rarely drink red, so no idea there. Moscato is my favorite too.

For red I'd recommend pinot noir!
