Barefoot Beach Bride

Megan, on September 17, 2019 at 9:39 PM Posted in Planning 0 3
So my fh out of nowhere keeps saying he thinks he should do a destination wedding, which I'm down for but would be fine with getting married around here ( we live in Ohio), I just want to get married lol. I have been trying to look up beach destination wedding ideas and how to start the planning and got kinda discouraged after seeing the pricing for some at resorts. I just came across Barefoot Beach Bride and looked at their pricing for a ceremony only and was thinking it sounds like a good deal.

Has anyone worked with them?

Their reception packages looked a little pricey so we might look into renting a beach house for the week of the wedding and hold a dinner after the ceremony and look into a separate cater.

You don't need to get married at a pricy resort. In CA, beaches are public property. It costs about 200 for a permit to have a wedding on the beach. You can rent a clubhouse on the bay for 2-3k and hold your reception there. There are also a bunch of bayfront restaurants that do weddings. There also public parks right on the bay. Rosarito has some really cheap full service wedding packages.

San Diego dream beach weddings have amazing locations! In the price photos and location are included with decorations.

Thank you for your feedback, we are looking more closer to home ( we are from Ohio) looking at maybe Maryland, Virginia, North or South Carolina. Florida is not an option because my FH wouldn't like to travel to Florida.
