Hi all....I've been hesitating to ask this (as I feel it may be a silly question...lol) but I'm still unsure if I'm supposed to wear my ering on my finger during ceremony and then he puts band on, or go bare fingered?? Hi all....I've been hesitating to ask this (as I feel it may be a silly question...lol) but I'm still unsure if I'm supposed to wear my ering on my finger during ceremony and then he puts band on, or go bare fingered?? LOL I have two half eternity bands and had just one soldered to bottom of e-ring, and was thinking I'd wear and then he'd put second band on completing the set? I only got one band soldered as I'll wear it both different ways depending on the look I want to mix it up. Does this sound right, or do I go bare fingered for the ceremony? Pic of soldered and have matching seperate band that he'd put on. Thank you. :+)

FH is getting my rings soldered together the week before our ceremony so I'll be walking down the aisle bare fingered.

I'm doing exactly what you are. I have two bands and am having one soldered to my e-ring. I plan to leave them on my left have and FH will just add the second band.

I'm leaving the e-ring on so FH doesn't accidentally try to put it on the wrong hand due to nerves, lol!

I think you do what makes you comfortable. I've had women move them to the right, take them off entirely, and leave them on the left.

The best man will actually have all of our rings and we're adding a little sentence about my engagement ring after he puts my wedding band on. It will be about him fulfilling his promise with my engagement ring and sealing it. So we'll do our bands and then he'll put my engagement ring over it. I can't wear it on my other hand and I didn't want to have to switch my rings around right away.

Its up to you. I have seen some brides wear the ering on the left hand, but i have also seen brides where the ering in the right hand on the wedding day until the wedding is over and then fixes it.

My band will be going over my e ring (I prefer it that way as I know many like the band under ) so I will be walking down the aisle with the e ring on my left hand and FH will place band over it "to seal the deal" - most of my friends wore it on their right hand and switched it over after the band was out on.
