    BAM stands for "back and married"

    I think somewhere on this site there is a glossary of the acronyms most commonly used. Here are a few more:

    FH=future husband

    FW=future wife

    FS=future spouse

    FMIL=future mother-in-law; FFIL=future father-in-law

    TL;DR=too long; didn't read

    DOC=day of coordinator

    That's all I can think of right now, but look for the glossary. It really helps!!

    SO=Significant Other

    BP=Bridal Party

    BAS=Back and showered

    FG=Flower Girl

    RB=Ring Bearer (not running back, lol)

    RD=Rehearsal Dinner

    I was thinking the same thing. The one that’s stumping me now is “DH” 🤷🏻‍♀️

    I am glad you posted this because I have been thinking FH meant fiance this whole time. Don't ask me why, considering there is no H in fiance lol Smiley xd

    I mean it sort of does for a lot of us since our fiancé will be our husband.. but doesn’t fit for everyone! At least you were close 😄

    DH = Dear Husband

    Also, BM could mean bridesmaid(s) or best man.

    HMUA = hair and makeup artist
    HMU = hair and makeup

    Thanks for this post!! I've always wondered what BAM meant. Does anyone know what FI is? Is it future in law?

    FI = Future Intended (or some people shorten Fiancé to "FI" though that is more rare)
