So technically I had been back to the forum, but our professional photos just arrived. Here they are as promised

We integrated a lot of Filipino and Vietnamese traditions in our wedding, from the coins/cord/veil during Mass to serving an 8 course meal and wearing tradition Vietnamese gowns during the reception.

We really loved our photographer, Mikal from lokitm.com. So, if any of you brides are still looking for a photographer in the OC, CA area, I highly recommend him!

How do you guys make decisions changing last names on your marriage, cuz I find it hard for myself .. I'm curious , hope I get answered from you soon, btw, I'm Vietnamese American and my bf is Filipino so.. ^^

This is pretty late but personally, I am also Vietnamese-American and marrying a Filipino husband, and I have decided to keep my last name. All the women in my family have kept their last name upon marriage, so I wanted to carry on that tradition and do the same. I can't speak for all Vietnamese though, so it may be a regional thing or depending on the family. If we have any children then they'll have their father's last name.

Did you get married yet? If so, what did you decide ?

It's alright, me and my bf just brought up marriage topic and yah, I agree with you because that's what I'm deciding for but he wanted me to change my last name to his. And this is difficult for us. What do you think I should do? Well I mean it's my choice right. I guess he just wants a girl to share his last name to be considered as married wife. He thought of seeing me as single because of our last names are different. That's how guy wants huh? But from my perspective, it don't really matter as long we love each other. But why would I have to give up my last name for an exchange of love .. well, I get it on his point but personally I don't think it'll match my name to his last name because it doesn't flow. I know you'll understand me, but I'm not sure how this gonna work out for us. And thanks for your time !
