Waited for so long to make this post! We got married on January 17, 2020 in New Orleans, LA.
I’ve seen so many people make super long posts about their day and offer advice and detail every moment of their day... Honestly, I said from the start I wouldn’t do that because it’s just too overwhelming. If you’re a NOLA bride and have the same vendors, feel free to privately reach out to me.
My only advice is to remain calm and enjoy your time. If you can take a week off of work/school- DO IT! I was blessed to be able to do that because I had family come starting the Wednesday before. Our evening was perfect. We had a Catholic Mass and a reception at a jazz hall with a live band. Everything went just as planned, except I lost my bouquet with my sorority pin and rosary. So if you’re putting something on your bouquet, assign someone to take it off and put it in a safe place AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. not having my bouquet is heartbreaking, but losing those irreplaceable items is even more heartbreaking. I’m glad I didn’t realize until the next day, so that my night wasn’t “ruined”. Below are tons of photos from myself, friends and family. Thanks to everyone on this app for being so helpful! I’m so happy to be married to the love of my life! My dress the morning of...
