Am I the only one that can't get over how ugly ballroom walls/floors/decor are yet, seem to be the most functional? Has anyone felt this way? If you had your wedding in a ballroom, what did you do to make it look better?

    Usually it's the carpet that is terrible. And sometimes the fake walls. The ballroom pics posted are very pretty (not so much the carpet in the 2nd one though) Keep shopping. You will find one eventually.

    I agree with purple kitten Yea they are definitely all not ugly so I wouldn't make a broad generalization like that. I was just in one of my BMs weddings two weeks ago and she was in a gorgeous ballroom. Not a chair cover or weird carpet in sight. Maybe there's one in your area! If not uplighting can really change the feel of the room
