Maybe cut your dress than wear a skirt over it so you can take the skirt off after and it's short under. A lot of dress shops carry skirts alone

Have you talked to a seamstress? They should be able to do a bustle.

That’s what I was thinking I just didn’t know if there were some other ways because I love how long it was but don’t want to ruin it

I'm so glad I could help! There are about six buttons for it. Your train looked so Similar, I assumed your options would be the same!

Bustles don't ruin a dress. Everything sewn (buttons, hooks etc) on is sewn by hand and is easily removed.

There is also the option of just adding a wrist loop.

Wrist loop is only for hanging the dress. I just really needed some bustle ideas

The designer I ordered from makes them custom so my dress was actually made to my height. So the first picture I shared is the model dress they had at the boutique and the ones bustled is my real length. I was worried about getting it hemmed and losing some of the detail. Are you getting yours hemmed?

That's incorrect. A wrist loop is used by brides who don't like the look of a bustle. The bride slips the loop over her wrist and it lifts the train off the floor.

It can rip my dress so it’s not an option anyways. But it is for helping hang the dress but some use it to hold their dress.

Hi Krista! I've been looking through several forums to find suggestions on bustles for ball gown with long trains. The back of your dress is very similar to mine and I'm wondering if you know the name of the style for the 2nd bustle picture posted here? I like that style a lot and would love it on my dress!
