Bald brides?

Rachel, on December 15, 2018 at 10:59 PM Posted in Planning 0 14
Hello bald brides! Shout out and let me know where you are! I’m undecided if I want to have anything on my head on the big day. I never wear anything on my head so it’s hard to say. I have alopecia universalis. I’ve been bald for about 6 years. I’m in Denver, CO!

Thanks! Weeb is a special kitty with a brain disorder, he’s my baby. I have worn wigs since I first started with baldness when I was 13 ( hair has come and gone my entire life) and I simply do not wear them unless I’m working. I’m a professional actor and wear them for characters, and I have several $5,000+ wigs, but I cannot stand to wear them. I am prone to migraines, and they are too tight. I’m allergic to adhesive so they fall off. So I just don’t bother.

Well it sounds like you’d be more comfortable on your wedding day to not wear a wig.

Have you seen any ladies with short hair or no hair with cute embellishments or wreaths and such on their heads! I see you all over the boards, you’ve got to be an expert!!

I think you should look and feel like yourself on your big day. So no wigs. What about a beautiful headband or something?

I should just go try some stuff! I am so used to not having things on my head, everything seems silly. But these all look nifty!

A floral crown would look lovely 😍 but the important thing is to be true to yourself!

Have you thought of a simple wreath type headpiece! I think that would look beautiful!

Bald is beautiful! I’m not bald, but my hamster has some alopecia and I knew from the second the store told me that was her “issue” that it wasn’t an “issue” at all. I love her so much!

Definitely don't do a wig id you are not comfortable with it! There are a lot of great suggestions in her the other thing is have you considered Henna or some sort of semi permanent design? There are some real elegant designs out there and then you won't have to worry about a head piece all day. Just some food for thought!
