Allie Marie, on April 3, 2017 at 8:32 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 21

I recently bought these boots (new) off eBay I just received them in the mail.. and they look grey to me ? Idk if anyone else owns these and this is the correct coloring or if the ones I just bought are fake ? Help please !!! The background is white for comparison.

Do you have more pics at different angles? Usually you can tell if its a knock-off from the tag/emblem and the bottom of the shoe.

Idk, from the pic they just look pearl, like shiny white. Is there a way to check ugg's authenticity? I'd google that!

Also they may look gray because of the metallic finish.

@Ms. 1950's I do like them, and don't care if they are fake. But if they are, and that's why the coloring is off I'll return them. My dress is white so if these come in a white-er version I want the whiter version.

Yea I think the metallic finish gives it that look. If it's for wedding related activities and you want more ivory/white I'm pretty sure you can find that as well.

As an eBay seller, you cannot label an item as authentic if it's not. They would have to put replica, fake, etc. If it turned out fake, you would get your money back and their account would be flagged. One of the many reasons why I love eBay!

This article tells you how to verify if they are authentic. I bought some from amazon and even though they looked legit I still double checked the security features they talk about.

Compare the label to a "real" UGG label as they are all uniform. I remember in high school my dad bought me a pair of knockoff uggs from china, the label was definitely different looking and the "australia" at the bottom was really spaced out , lover case and obviously different than a real ugg. Plus they REEKED like spray paint.
