BAH - Our week in the Bahamas!

After getting married on Sunday 6/2, we left on Tuesday 6/4 for the Bahamas and just returned last night on Tuesday 6/11. It was truly a magical week in paradise.

Let me tell you this: the “just married” T-shirts, are CRAZY cheesy, yes, but they’re MAGIC. We started exploring the resort one day and ended up stumbling upon this elite club that’s members-only, and apparently it’s VERY exclusive. The manager saw our T-shirts and was like “well, it’s your honeymoon, ok, come on in!” We spent the day lounging by this semi-private rooftop infinity pool (last picture) and it was just pure heaven! Don’t be afraid to pull the “we’re on our honeymoon” card whenever you can! People are SO generous and accommodating when they find that out!!!

Honestly the most wonderful thing though was when we weren’t wearing the just married shirts, and the amount of times that strangers would ask us if we were on our honeymoon. When we said yes, they were like “I knew it. You have the newlywed glow.” So apparently we looked as happy as we felt!

It was such a wonderful week, and the perfect way to follow an absolutely perfect wedding weekend. We’ve been married 10 days and I am just so blissfully happy and in love. As sad as I am to be stepping out of the wedding/honeymoon bubble and returning to work and the real world tomorrow, I just feel so blessed to be doing life with my husband 🥰
