Badgley Mischka shoes

Naomi, on December 11, 2016 at 1:08 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 19

Hello fellow brides! I am having an SOS moment, I ordered a pair of Badgley Mischka shoes, super gorgeous for my wedding day. In my normal size, an 8. I didn't want to try them on when they arrived since they are white and I didn't want to ruin them in any way. Well I decided for some reason today I better try them on. Well thank goodness because they do not fit!!! They are super tight and probably could be broken in but how the hell do you do that before your wedding? Does anyone know if this brand tends to run small?

Not really an SOS moment...your wedding is in 7 months.

Exchange them for a size up, no big deal

Why on earth would you not try shoes on? Wearing them for two minutes to make sure they fit and are comfortable certainly won't ruin them.

I would recommend trying an 8.5 or see if they have an 8W. But generally, you walk around in shoes to break them in. Put them on with socks and walk around your house for a half hour every so often.

Yes they run small. You absolutely need to break heals in prior to the wedding. You definitely don't want blisters on that day.

I ordered my badgley flats in my size but will have time to send for bigger if they are too small (they arrive in feb and wedding in May) but the lady said it'll be enough time so I'm sure you'll be ok. :+) here are mine!

If you want to keep them, break then in by wearing 1 or 2 pair of socks and walking around. The brand definitely runs small.

Since they're white I will personally just up it a size and half bigger.

Wow, I'm surprised that people can be so harsh! Obviously I have time I know that...I was just seeing if it's just my pair or if they run small so I can be prepared when I exchange them. Thank you for the advice, I'm hoping now I can return/exchange them!

Wear them around your house with socks on. If they are just slightly tight I wouldn't go a size up in case they stretch at all while wearing them. Then you'll have trouble keeping them on all night.

I bought a pair of heels recently and wore them around my house 3 times for about an hour with socks and they were the perfect fit after.

KatelynnC, I think these are much tighter than the norm unfortunately. I have no idea how I would fit a sock in there too! But that's great advice I'll see if it's possible!

My shoes are also that brand.

I read that my shoes would run small so I ordered half a size up. It ended up being to big and I ordered my regular size. I would exchange them if I were you. You don't want to be in uncomfortable shoes on your big day.

Weirdly I ordered a size 6 which is my typical size and they fit just perfectly. Sorry you have to send them back! That makes me so sad when you have to wait again for them to come back haha

I'm going to do the sock trick, as I do have a feeling that mine will be narrow (based on the style of shoe) and I have a wider foot....the woman at the boutique suggested that I order in my size though....so we'll see!? :+)

I usually wear a 7.5 in heals. I got an 8 for my Badgley pair.
