Badgley Mischka Shoes (or high heels in general) - Anyone with comfort issues?

Annie & Javi, on August 12, 2015 at 2:51 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11

I had tried them on, walked around and everything was fine before purchasing, however the other night at my first dress fitting they were super uncomfortable! I don't know if it was because I had to stand straight up and still for so long, but my feet were aching like crazy and I couldn't wait to get those suckers off!

I typically wear heels on an every day basis, anywhere from 3"-5" and on occasion will go as high as 6" but always make sure that the 6" heels have at least a 1" platform. The Badgley heels I purchased are 5" with a 3/4" platform which typically has NEVER bothered me.

Has anyone else found Badgley Mischka shoes to be so uncomfortable? I'm thinking about buying some kind of insert to put in them to make them more comfy, but I've never had to go that route. I'm also considering buying another pair of shoes similar in height to switch into, but I really hate to drop $50 on a second pair of shoes after paying $160 for the Badgleys.

Advice? New shoes? Inserts?

I bought 3 pairs of Badgley's and they are ALL uncomfortable. I walked around in the pair I chose for the wedding at home and they were fine. 1st dress fitting I thought I was going to die. One foot went numb. The other foot just ached so badly I decided to buy new shoes. I ended up with a pair from DSW for 50$. Oh well LOL

If they're uncomfortable at all , return them !!

I thought I found the perfect wedding shoe (a pair of Nina's), that I thought were comfortable at first , then i put them on again and kept them on. I couldn't wait to get them off !! I made the decision to give up my "perfect blue wedding shoe " for a shoe I could be more comfortable in. Cause I knew i would be standing the whole day. Long story short I went back to dsw and found a different shoe and returned the "perfect" one.

Didn't regret it in the end .

I got some! They were really comfortable! Mine had a thin heel and I'm used to that though.

I'm thinking of buying inserts as well, my shoes have no platform.

Not Badgley Mishkas, but I thought my shoes were less comfortable while I was trying on dresses than when I was walking around the house in them. I think standing in one position for a long time is worse unless they actually rub on your feet when you walk--then that would be worse.

Hump. I'm so bummed! I chose the style because based on the heights and the regularity that I wear heels I figured there wouldn't be any issue and I was so wrong! I'm past the point where I can return them so I'm definitely stuck with them unless I attempt to sell them but of course there is potential loss there, etc.

I often find that wedges are more comfortable for me. i can wear almost any wedge for like 5+hours and dance the whole time. that's what i'm wearing for my wedding. they're 4" with an 1.5" platform.

I know this sounds terrible but your post was just what I needed to read right now. I just ordered a beautiful pair of Bagley Michskas and then broke my foot yesterday so can't even wear them. Knowing that my feet would have been miserable makes it a little bit easier to send them back to the store before getting to even try them on. Right now I am on the comfort train, but I also wear heels everyday (part of how I broke my foot) and know how heels can change your attitude and make you feel beautiful - sometimes that is worth a little pain.

I have ordered and returned 4 pairs. They are either uncomfortable or when I received them from Nordstrom and amazon. They had scuffs on the shoe and the fake diamonds were coming off the ankle part. For the price I paid I wasn't keeping them. Very disappointed!

I just ordered a pair of bagley michskas..... seem okay walking around the house but now I’m nervous with I’ll these posts... I have tiny feet (around 5.5) and these almost seem too narrow. I may stick it out, hard to find closed toed heels for a winter wedding that fit me
