So our big day was Saturday and of course, our DJ sucked. We paid about $600 for a DJ who brought a photobooth and I know you get what you pay for but it was worse than that. During my
bouqet toss they played the wrong song so I quickly walked over and let them know they were playing the song for the garter toss not the bouquet. The one DJ then turned to me and said “no, it’s not! I have it written down here!” And showed me her handwritten note. Music also cut off during the middle of the songs and I could only assume it was because it had curse words and that’s against their policy but I don’t understand why when I gave them a list to follow for my personal requests and the exact songs for each part and they still messed it up. They couldn’t bother to check songs before hand. So what do I do? Do I say something to them? It’s not about the money but it does suck.

I would just leave reviews where you can!
Maybe let them know too you were disappointed with your experience and that you're not after a refund. Constructive criticism could hopefully stick and teach them!

Did you sign a contract with them? I’d look over the policies if you did. I’m not sure if you’re asking if you can get your money back, but since they did come and provide their service (even though it was bad) that’s probably not going to happen. I would say leave an honest review of them online if you can and that will probably deter people from using them in the future and having that experience. I know it’s not the equivalent of getting your money back, but they cant control reviews and it will probably cost them business.

My DJ wasn't great either. He didn't play a lot of the songs I specified that I really wanted and if he did he would make a comment about how he "haaaaas to play this for the bride and groom" or "I'm playing this because I promised" All of the songs were songs I KNOW for a fact our guests love. His microphone sucked so some of his announcements about certain songs people didn't even hear. He also played songs on our "do not play list" and guess what happened during those songs... EVERYONE left the dance floor.
This DJ was part of a company so I didn't bother with a review for the public, just to the company. I understand how you're feeling. It really does suck.

Definitely leave reviews. Warn future brides so they don't have to have the same struggle. I'm sorry they put a damper on your wedding day.

What a PRICK! He is a freaking wedding DJ, not Steve Aoki. He should have treated you with king and queen service and played every single request you made with a smile. I am so sorry this happened to you. I hope he got a flat tire on the way home and woke up with a migraine.

Ugh this sucks. But like you said, you get what you paid for. I would definitely leave a review tho to warn future customers of their inadequacies
