Backyard Wedding?

If you don't have space to host people inside in case of rain, I wouldn't even consider a backyard wedding an option. They can also be super expensive, more so than venues, because you have to start from scratch and provide everything from tables and chairs to portable bathrooms.

If you have the space to set up a tent, then a backyard wedding could work!

View Quoted Comment I do have tent space. However those prices always seem too high. I think I will have to do a venue. It's just been had as walking for both our families is extremely difficult. Maybe I will rethink the venue type and see if their is a more disable friendly venues around me.

We thought about having our wedding on my family ranch but decided against it. The cost for tent, tables, chairs, trailer restrooms, speakers, generators, having the area sprayed for bugs, etc. was way too much to deal with.
