My wedding is going to be No ember 2018 and I'm seriously thinking of having a backyard wedding. Has anyone had their wedding/ going to have their wedding in the winter months? I'm planning to rent a large tent for the event. Any other must do or don'ts?

Everyone is right. And @mrsMcK... that is so true, a winter backyard wedding doesn't sound very pleasant. I'm not one for the cold.

Hey! I'm doing a tent wedding in November of this year as well. Look up Grand Rental Station this is where we are getting our tent, tables, chairs, linen, plate rentals, etc. We have been quoted around $4, 000 which includes a clear top 70 by 40 foot tent. the quote is for a guest list of 150 people if you don't want the clear top tent it will be about $3, 000. That is a whole lot cheaper than a venue in my opinion. Also, the party can go all night long. This was a huge reason for us to do it in the backyard. Let me know if you have any other questions. I'm sure I can give you good advice after all the digging around I have done. I would first consider what type of relationship you have with all of your neighbors. Maybe talk to them let them know what your plan is for the wedding. Our biggest issue was finding parking but after talking to the neighborhood we have decided that it's not a big issue considering everyone is willing to give up their driveways for the big day.
