Backless Strapless Bra

Libby, on May 5, 2019 at 10:26 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 17
Ladies! What have you found to be the BEST backless / strapless bra? I desperately need one and haven’t had any luck. I came across this one and am wondering if anybody has had any luck.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Oh wow I haven't seen that before. And it's definitely not strapless.

Is it for your wedding dress? Can you just have cups sewn in by your seamstress?

That bra has clear straps and looks incredible uncomfortable! How low cut is your dress? Can you just get a low-cut strapless longline bra?

I never thought I’d be able to wear a sticky bra because I’m a 34DD but I was in a situation where I had to have something backless for a bridesmaid dress and I got some from target and they were so comfortable! Way more comfortable than a strapless bra even if I don’t need something backless. If you stick them on closer to your armpits you can pull them together to clip in the middle and it gives you a tiny bit of support. I’d recommend at least giving them a shot! Victoria’s Secret makes a sticky bra that clips together in the middle too

DO NOT BUY THIS. I tried it and the way its designed, it has no tension in the cups so they just sit floppy on your chest.

I've tried the stick on bras before and have horrible luck! It's probably just my shape/form but they look so saggy and are not where they're suppose to be! lol I will probably end up having cups sewn in.

No problem. I really wanted to find a backless pushup bra for my dress but I ended up just sewing some cups in myself. Less to worry about on the day of.

Haha mine definitely are not perky by any means in the stick on bras but they aren’t in a strapless bra much either and I find the sticky ones wayyy more comfy. But if having something seen in is an option I would 1000% go with that option bc the less you have under your dress to keep in place the more comfortable you’ll be!

I tried the bra in your post and it didn't fit my body - but I have a super short torso so the crotch either hung down or the bra was too high. (yes, you can laugh)

That said, I tried about ten bras from barenecessities.com - they haVe a great return policy!

In the end I gave up trying to find a bra that would work and had asked my seamstress to sew in a bra for me. Irony? She only sewed in one half of the bra/ one boob, and an hour before our ceremony I ended up cutting it out of my dress and wore this: https://www.barenecessities.com/fashion-forms-voluptuous-u-plunge-backless-strapless-bra-29710_product.htm?pf_id=FashionForms29710&color=Nude

Did this bra stay on? Was it comfy? I have so many low backed sundresses for my honeymoon.

Yes, it stayed on perfectly! There's really no adjusting it/ no need to adjust it b/c the entire thing is sticky (cups and the "flaps" on the side are entirely adhesive) and will not move. There is underwire in the one I linked so that helped with the perkiness issue (that I have).

I don't think any bras are ever comfy, and I didn't hate it. I also wore it to rehearsal and the wedding so I'm not sure if I was on a "high" from that or not, or if it is actually comfortable.

I actually bought something very similar on amazon and I felt like it did nothing! Definitely not worth it, I returned mine as soon as I bought it and bought a "tummy support thong" instead.

I ordered a strapless bra from amazon and it’s the only one I can wear I’m a 34G but I ordered a 38 F because the reviews said the band was super small. It was very exciting to have a strapless bra that supported me! It’s definitely not the most comfortable, but I guess no bras really are!

It was fashion forms superlite adhesive strapless bra! It doesn’t offer a ton of support but I don’t get a lot from most strapless bras either and this is more comfortable! It helps to stick them on closer to your armpits then it pulls them together when you hook it
