Backless Bra

Marteea, on February 23, 2020 at 9:16 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8
My dress is backless and at this point I’m regretting the dress I got because I’m in desperate need of help finding a good backless bra that actually works, I’m willing to pay whatever at this point I’m bigger chested and I need the lift and support. Thanks in advance!

I would have your seamstress sew some cups in your dress so you don’t have to worry about a bra.

Go to a bra shop. I bought extra long bra straps, they pulled my regular bra unhooked down and around and tucked the around into my smoother to hold it. That was their solution.

Sewn in cups are a great option. I had them sewn into my dress and I had support and did not have to worry with a bra. I would talk to your seamstress about them.

Daughter is a 36 DD and we tried every imaginable option that might work with a backless dress. Nothing worked the way she wanted it to. The bodice of her dress had a lot of structure, stays and cups integrated into the structure of the multiple layers of the bodice fabric, but she wanted her chest to be lifted up and kept securely in place, without creating excessive cleavage. It took a lot of trial and error, but ultimately her seamstress got the dress exactly the way she wanted it by adding TWO sets of cups (including one set of pretty significant push-up pads that were the very last thing daughter anticipated needing...). The dress then fit her perfectly and she looked amazing! Her "girls" were up where she wanted them, and she looked perfectly proportioned (not bigger, which was something she absolutely didn't want). She danced like a crazy woman all night with everything securely in place. She never would have guessed in a million years that would have been the fix! Talk with your seamstress -- a good one can work miracles! Smiley heart

    Hi Marteea,
I recommend having sewn in bra cups, my seamstress said you can get whatever size and support you need, I unfortunately I less than B cup boobs and needed padded cups so I wouldn't look flat! But it came out great, i'm very happy now.Backless Bra 1

I'm a bigger gal, and I gave up on the DB torsolette and had them sew in cups. It's really just the most feasible option, and is a part of the dress so shouldn't move around. Have you thought about cups?

Try boob tape from The Kit or SKIMS - they have demos on how to use it.
