Backdrops (draping) rental prices

Thank you! I wanted to know so that I can budget wisely.

Those are pretty! but if you are into diy there is a way to make them pretty cheap! I found the idea on pinterest and its made from pvc pipe but you just buy sheer curtains or whatever color curtains you want.

I've heard draping is very expensive

My venue charges $400 for the wall behind the sweetheart table to be draped, $4,000 for the entire room, and $1,100 for a really pretty star draped on the ceiling. The chuppah style drapery over the sweetheart table is $195 and includes a chandelier. This is in Southern California.

I bought a 7ft x 10ft pipe & drape kit off of TableClothFactory.com for $30. I bought it for the sweetheart table backdrop. They sell the fabric too- I think it's fire-proof polyester. I'm buying draping fabric separately because I want chiffon. But this is a cheaper option if you don't mind DIY.

Make one yourself. I did for under 100...thanks to amazon!!

The entire room is going to cost you thousands. I thought about it briefly but got a quote for around $3k and dropped that idea.
