That being said, I have to say, I was lucky enough to come across photos on Instagram of a bride with sleeve tattoos (which is what I have) in a long-sleeved wedding dress and after seeing how gorgeous she and the dress looked, I am now considering a long sleeved dress as that was my original plan way back when I started researching dresses. I do think that the type of lace detailing and placement will make a difference in terms of how it will look against tattooed skin, but the long sleeved Hayley Paige dresses that I have seen (specifically the Elysia gown) have looked stunning on tattooed brides! I am now eyeballing all three of these gowns (one is strapless but I love the delicate and feminine flower lace in the skirt). My ring has a very princess-like appearance and I find myself leaning towards a dress with a more “princess” vibe. Yes, I do want a gown that was unique and a statement, but the thought of getting married on the beach in a big, flowy ballgown is just such a romantic image. I know I will need to try the dresses on to make a decision, but these gowns are just stunning to me. 😍 these are the Elysia, Pippa, and Chantelle gowns. The long sleeved ones are very similar with subtle differences, and Chantelle has that gorgeous flower lace in the skirt that I mentioned above.
