Back fat dilemma

Lyndsay, on February 25, 2017 at 12:50 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8

So I bought my dress awhile back ago and I love it! But less than 2 months before my wedding I've noticed how bad my back fat is! It's a backless dress and I want to feel confident wearing it! Picture is of me a few months back. I wont be wearing a bra with it though. Any tips??

Is there a pull up machine at your gym? Pull ups are great for back fat.

I have a backless dress too! I cried at my first fitting because it was the first time I've seen it. I've been doing a ton of back and shoulder machines (lat pull down, shoulder press, seated row, lower back extensions - ask a trainer if you don't know which to use or how to do them!

Also, I would suggest not wearing a bra for a few hours, putting your dress on, then having someone snap a photo from behind. Your bra will give you creases and lines that won't be there on your wedding day. I haven't lost any weight between my first and second fittings, so I think having a no-lines photo helped my confidence more than anything

Change your diet, cardio, if your not going to the gym push ups, burpies. If your going to the gym ask the gym workers or a friend to point you in the direction of a rowing machine, lat pull down...assisted pull up machine.. telling you all of the things that I have needed to start doing. Remember we are our own worst critiques don't be so hard on yourself I'm honestly telling you it doesn't look as bad as you think. Stand straight and put your shoulders back.

Everyone has a part of their body they dislike, you are truly your own worst critic. Head high, chest out, smile on your face, and no one will look at your back. On top of that, I don't see said back fat in that picture I see your bra. If you are really concerned you can do certain exercises to help, I would just google videos. Good luck to you!

As others have said, toning exercises and clean eating. No processed foods. Look into the app Loose It! and the Whole 30 plan to help with the food part.

    ETA: fix app name.

Also posture ! Posture makes a huge deal of a difference. So stand up straight and pull your shoulders back, chin high. It'll take some getting used to if it's not natural for you but it'll make a big difference over all

You can't lose weight in one specific place. You have to eat healthy (clean), do cardio and work out your entire body with weights.

I think you look beautiful, but I understand the struggle !

    I don't see it.

I'm with JPCD, stand up straight. Also, it will look different without the bra.
