Hey all!

I just needed to get a rough idea for my own sanity about bachelorette parties.

I have bridesmaids who live all over the country (Texas, Cali, Florida etc.) and I wanted to do something relaxed in a city near a major airport so decided on Scottsdale, Arizona. There are a lot of cute boutique hotels and want to keep activities to shopping, eating, drinking, hanging out etc.

My sister is a convention planner and is used to staying in high end hotels. She is looking to book us a boutique inn that would be 200/night/person for a 3 night party- this is with splitting rooms. One of my best friends has addressed to me that the hotel is too expensive and would want to sleep on a couch to save costs. I definitely don't want her to have to do that! The only cheaper option would be to stay in a chain hotel like a Hampton Inn or find an Airbnb.

Should we change the plans for one person? Should I ask the others what their budget is first?

Any advice would be appreciated!!!

You can probably still hand this to your sister by what your expectations are. You don't have to completely take over, just outline what you need since she did not understand before.
Hampton Inn or cute Airbnb or maybe a little bed & breakfast is a better option rather than a boutique inn?

I would ask everyone what is their budget. Plus have u thought it would be more fun to maybe do something that would house everyone. Would be cheaper and fun .

How far in advance did your sister plan this? Me and my bride tribe are going to Vegas for like 4 days. Overall it will be pricey but we have two years to save for it. We went ahead and started planning early so that way we could ensure everyone was able to attend.

We are planning for February now. I just got engaged in May and my wedding is in April so advanced notice probably would not have been possible for me.

I am 33 and all of my friends are well established in our careers except for the one who is worried about price and she is a stay at home mom. So I think we all just have different budgets!
