Bachelorette Party

Elena, on October 21, 2019 at 11:15 AM Posted in Planning 0 11

Hi Everyone!

I am planning on having a small bachelorette party at a beach cottage in Maine. The only time I could get the cottage that also worked for most peoples schedules was 2 weekends before the wedding.

Is this too close to the wedding?

Thanks Smiley smile

I don't see a problem as long as it works for everyone's schedules.

Nope. As long as the timing works for everyone, than it is perfect. It also gives whoever is throwing your bachelorette party plenty of time to plan! So that is an extra perk! Have fun!

Thank you for the comment! Online I read that it should be 1-4 months before the wedding and I totally pre-panicked

I don't think that's too close at all! Really it's all about what works best for you and your friends. You can go whenever you want! sounds like a great time, enjoy!

Traditionally, the bachelor/bachelorette parties were the night before the wedding. That tradition seems to be much less common nowadays, but there really is no limit to how close it can be.

Only if it doesn’t work for your schedule. Mine was the weekend before the wedding as it made it easier on my bridesmaid from across the country. It was perfect. It was so nice to relax and take a break from the last minute wedding stress! Just the reset I needed Smiley smile
