bachelorette party rant!!

I feel your pain... I had 3 girls drop out of mine even though we planned it way in advance. To be fair, 2 of them are now pregnant but the 3rd one had an issue with her estranged husband telling her she couldn't go.

You should still have one! Not sure how many other girls are coming, but you should still go and have fun!

Why dont you just do something that costs less since that is why everyone is backing out????

I agree with dme! Just do something local that people can go to. And what's up with all these men who won't let the girls go? If FH tried to do that, I'd laugh in his face.

Theres nothing around where i am. and ive changed these plans alot and then they complain im not changing them again if i change them again im gonna cancel it

I agree with Not-a-mrs in both statements. 1. I'd try something cheaper and closer so everyone can go and 2. I'd laugh in FS face if he told me he wouldn't let me do something.

IMO, I think that going away and having a weekend thing is a lot to expect from your bridesmaids. Bachelorette parties don't have to be so crazy. For my one friends wedding we all went on a simple wine tour one Saturday afternoon. I loved it! It was one price and all the wine you could drink and we went around and walked through some awesome vineyards. I just wanted to go out dancing and then hang in the house with my close girlfriends and my girls wouldn't even do that. I might try and plan the vineyard thing since I enjoyed that.

For my friend's bachelorette party, we are going to a salon to have our nails done, out to eat and then back to her house for movies. We are all sleeping over there. It worked well with two girls pregnant, due around the same time and many coming from far away. It's easy on our budgets as well!
