bachelorette party problems!!!...Need opinions!

I live in Greenville, NC and I want a bachelorette party weekend not just one night. My irls know that I love a good party and they know that I want that night to be big. I would like to have a weekend n Atlanta which is 8 hours from me but if too many girls feel like Atlanta is too far I would love to have a weekend in Charlotte, NC which is like 3.5 hours away. My mother and MOH(sister) seem to think that I am thinking way too big and making too big a deal about this trip. Some of my girls are totally down with Atlanta but Im not sure about what most of my bridal party thinks. Am I doing too much?

Just ask your girls what they want to do. We went away for a friends Bach party last year to a beach that was 3 hours away and did it up all weekend. Another girl just did one night out in downtown Cleveland. I just did a party bus night out for mine. I think my friend getting married in October wants to go somewhere for an entire weekend. It just depends on what everyone can afford and has time to do.

I feel you!!!! I live in Tampa FL and want to go on a 2-3 night cruise (out of Tampa - no travel involved)with my girls and I'm sure I'm gonna get some resistance. If you love trips, just go for it...maybe all bunk up in 1 room to make it more cost efficient, you'll be out partying the whole time anyway

Thank you ladies for your input. I think most of my girls will love to take a girls trip and I only anticipate getting resistance from a couple.

I am just getting on this site as a newly engaged bride. But I have played the MOH and bridesmaid to many, especially this year. @Victoria try this group: desta.thepopular.me. We used them and had a lot of success. And the owner is willing to negotiate prices if you give her a budget range.
