Bachelorette party (Prego friendly)

Amanda, on December 1, 2017 at 5:37 PM Posted in Planning 0 10

I am trying to help my MOH (who is pregnant) plan my bachelorette party. I will also have two other pregnant ladies attending so I am looking for some ideas! Unfortunately it will be to cold for a beach trip, and not everyone is big on spas. Help?

In my area the paint and sip parties are really big or pottery classes. My moh is thinking about doing a Broadway show since I'm in nj.

Movie night sounds like a fun option! Broadway would be awesome but I live in Florida lol. Enjoy it for me!

I love the idea of a painting thing or a glass blowing workshop; we have a great studio by us that does lampworking parties and I always thought that would be a fabulous bach party idea!

Not sure if they are popular in your area but, Escape Rooms are really fun for a group to do. You could do that and then have dinner or dessert somewhere.

I also like pps suggestion of a paint nite.

I did a cooking class for a friends bachelorette and it was a lot of fun! It was byob so those that wanted to drink, brought wine.

Did no one else see "prego" and think pasta? No? Just me? Ok....

I agree with a cooking class or painting class, something where you can BYOB or don't have to do much physical activity but can still have a lot of fun. We painted pottery at my bach for one of the activities and it was great!

    Date and name twin!

We did hiking trails (not sure if your girls are too far along to be on their feet for hiking), an escape room, a really nice dinner/brunch the next morning.

I don't have a lot of pregnant people coming, but a lot of women with small children/breastfeeding moms. We all live in the Boston area, so we're getting a hotel in the city. We're going to do dinner and I figure the moms can come out for dinner if they want to and then whoever stays in the hotel will go out in the city. I've done a wine and paint night before for a bachelorette party and it was a lot of fun, plus you got a cool souvenir of the event. Escape the Room is a lot of fun, but I think that should depend on how pregnant your friends are. You are essentially standing for an hour (little over by the time you hear the rules). If someone is 8 months pregnant, they might not be comfortable on their feet for that long.
