Hi everyone! I need ideas for bachelorette party locations in February/March that are within driving distance (lets say like 6-7 hours MAX) from Frederick??? My wedding is in April 2019! I was originally thinking Charlottesville, VA but will wineries be open during those months? It's tricky because there's no where within driving distance that won't have a threat of snow those months. I love Baltimore but we go all the time and it wouldn't be "special". Let me know where you had your bachelorette party!!!

I've been to Charlottesville in October and it was an awesome trip, I hope you'll be able to go too! Would you consider DC? Or how about Annapolis, or Rehoboth or Bethany Beach? Even in the off season the beach can be a really nice getaway.

We went to Wintergreen for a bachelor/bachelorette party combined at the end of March. Of you look up route 151, there's something like 11 wineries down that road, 2 cidaries, a couple of breweries and distilleries. It was awesome!!!! We went right after our biggest snow storm but it ended up being fine because the highways get plowed quickly and once we hit the Wintergreen area, they plow quickly because it's a ski resort. I would highly recommend.
Charlottesville also had a fantastic wine/brewery scene.
