Bachelorette party in SoCal

Jennifer, on May 29, 2017 at 10:43 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13

We had been planning on a trip to Vegas but with my work schedule that sadly won't be happening. Im trying to figure out what else we could locally Instead. Luckily I should have plenty of options considering where I live. Could I get some help with suggestions? Thanks !

Do downtown fullerton or LA. Or Palm Springs. I dont want to do vegas. I may do winery day in temecula or palm springs for the weekend.

    Catalina island?

    Glen Ivy spa?

    Palm Springs?

    Temecula wine tasting?

A narrower region of Southern California and what kind of things you like to do would be helpful!

Palm Springs! Tons of cute places to go, pool parties, etc. Though not super unique, you'll probably see other bachelorette's going on. Glen Ivy is a good one too, I'm thinking about doing that. Even just going to Pasadena for the night and bar hopping would be fun.

Downtown Fullerton is only great if your college aged. Too many bros and sorority girls.

Temecula winery and glen ivy are both great options. Especially if you have a weekend or two days to do both.

For one day you could down to balboa for some shopping, paddleboarding, and then a bar crawl through the local Newport bars.

Our mountains are close by, lake arrowhead, lake Gregory, big bear lake and silver wood all have fun water activities for day time, followed by a nice dinner/drinks.

We have so many options it really just depends on what your favorite things to do are.

ETA- I second that DT Fullerton is geared towards the college crowd. I'd feel out of place there now, and I'm still in my twenties.

People go to Vegas for all sorts of reasons. LA has plenty of rooftop pool parties, strip clubs, bars, live music and bottle service packages.

You can find the same thing here if that's what you were going for.

I'm going to do San Diego for mine! I don't know what my ladies have planned but I figure there's wine tasting, the beach and gaslamp so it should be a good time! FH is from Palm Springs and has mentioned that there are a lot of bachlorette parties down there lately. It's on the up!

San Diego. Tons of bars, restaurants, live music, the ocean, tons to do.

The Coin-Op in North Park is awesome, great drinks, vintage arcade games, and in walking distance of other bars. Drinks cost less than in the Gaslamp district too which is a plus.

Please don't go to Downtown Fullerton (aka DTF as the college kids call it) for your bachelorette.

    Los Angeles Area

Literally anywhere in Malibu - they have beautiful wineries

Malibu Wine Safaris - can rent out a private safari tour, you get wine and a tour of their grounds including zebras, a giraffe, and beautiful views

Pool parties in LA (vegas vibe) - Mondarian, Hotel Roosevelt, the standard

    Hollywood Men (ayyyy Magic Mike)

Pole dancing classes are crazy out here, so much fun!

If you like dancing Exchange LA, Create Nightclub, and Sound Nightclub are all great

Orange County - I personally wouldn't go out in because I live here but could still be fun

    Time Nightclub

    Bungalow HB for day drinking

Laguna Beach has a lot nicer drinking spots for night too

If you go out in OC, I Would advise Laguna or Pacific City over Newport and Balboa (less divey)

    Temecula

Very cheap to rent a limo or a bus and take you around

Hit up Wilson Creek - they very rarely take your tickets so you can have as much wine as you want (ask to try a port in a chocolate shot glass)

South Coast Winery is also good

Monte de Oro is my favorite

    Wiens has chocolate wine!

Pechanga Resort is right down the street for dinner, drinks, and gambling.

    San Diego

Has Omnia nightclub - probably the closes you're going to get to vegas

They also have Hard Rock Hotel Pool Party

You can get a pedal pub to take you around downtown, gaslamp, or wherever you want

This is probably where I'm going - we're doing the pedal pub to day drink and getting a cute dinner on a rooftop restaurant and going out to Omnia at night. All the bars are so close, you can easily hop around all over the place
