VisitSarasota.com recommended a host of museums, beaches, opera theatres, and other fun activities. You should check out the site for more options!

How far along are you with the planning for your September wedding? Have you booked a venue or decided on a color combo? Fill me in!

Hi Claudia! You can visit our Hotel Blocks page to search desirable accommodations:

    - WeddingWire Hotel Blocks

Just enter your check-in and check-out date to see the results!

As far as flights go, we do not have a resource for that, but cheaptickets.com and other money-saving sites are always great for booking affordable flights!

    Good luck!

I lived there for several years! It depends on what you're looking to do, and if you want to stay closer to the beach or the city.

Beach is more touristy stuff, Longboat Key has St. Armand's Circle.

Sarasota = foodie, boutique shopping, plays/concerts/etc.

If you're looking to dance in the city, you have Gator Club and The 5 O'Clock Club. Dancing on the beach = The Beach Club on Siesta Key
