Bachelorette Party Ideas

Faitho, on March 4, 2025 at 2:10 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 3
Hello,

I am trying to help the bride plan her Bachelorette party, but am struggling a lot because she wants to include her future sister in law and allow her to enjoy the time as well. SIL is 13 so the already knocks out getaways or anything focused on drinking. We considered theme parks, but my friend has a condition with adrenaline where this wouldn't be ideal for her health. The SIL is the type of girl who wears all black, dark hair, and black nails. I don't feel goth is the right word but I'm not sure the term to use. She doesn't like typical girly stuff like makeovers or shopping trips, so spa days or even a simple Mall party is out according to bride.
I feel the bride is trying too hard to accommodate SIL, but I'm keeping my mouth shut because it's not my decision to make. This leads me to here. I have run out of ideas on how to make this an enjoyable time for bride, while also allowing the SIL to be included and have fun. Any ideas are welcomed.
Extra Info:-All of us, except SIL, are fresh out of college, not much money. I don't know if this means I'm supposed to ask MIL or FIL to pitch in since she doesn't have money? Either way, preferably non pricey.-Bride enjoys musicals, bowling, and hikes

What about doing a paint night (where you all go to a studio to paint an image)? Or a fancy dinner and a few hours of bowling? Or a weekend camping trip near some scenic hiking trails? An escape room would be a fun option too. All of those ideas would accommodate everyone, and would be fun activities to do as a group.

For my bachelorette party we went bowling and then when out to dinner. We were originally going to do an escape room and dinner, but two of my bridesmaids couldn't make it so I didn't want such a small group going to an escape room.

How about an easy hike and picnic?

Evening at home with jackbox games (highly recommend jackbox specifically! Super fun and easy for bigger groups, much more fun than regular board games)

Cupcake or cake decorating (in teams) competition
Power point party (pick a general theme and everyone makes and presents a funny PowerPoint/slides presentation, look on TikTok!)
