Bachelorette Party Ideas?

Christie, on November 11, 2020 at 10:13 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 17

Hi there! Does anyone have any ideas for a covid bachelorette party? I have cut the list of girls to about 10 most likely. This will not be until maybe April. My MOH wants to kick my fiancé out and have it at my house but I really don't want to do that. My original party was planned at a hotel and I had invested a lot into it and then covid hit. Thanks!

Is there a reason you're not doing it at the hotel still? I think that would be a good idea

I agree with Yasmine, the hotel idea could still be do-able!

Thanks, I was kind of hoping to still do that but I just didn't know if that was still 'covid' appropriate plus I wasn't sure I could afford it this time.

I hope so! It'd be a little more special, I think.

I personally think it's appropriate. Sanitize the hotel room and take the same precautions you would anywhere else!

I agree with PP about the hotel idea! You could also look into Air BnB's, yes they have a 'no parties/events' policy now, but I know I've seen that a lot of their rentals that accommodate your guest count of 10 are still available for renting!

Ooo I should look at Airbnb, thanks! So true. I would plan of course for everyone to attend BUT there is always someone that can't make it, so there's that.

You're welcome! I hope either that or the hotel idea works out!

I've seen people do virtual gatherings or activities that take place all outsude with camping.

We just had my bachelorette party at my house and we had a great time! We rented a bus to take us up to a winery and then spent the afternoon enjoying the weather outdoors. That night we did face masks, tons of wine and games on Xbox including a fun (and dirty lol) game similar to Pictionary. The next day we had a beautiful brunch then a few of us got Pho and Pedi's with another evening of the Haunting of Hill house and ice cream. Highly recommend if your house is big enough!

I know my ladies we’re most concerned about the recirculating air in a hotel. So we booked a VRBO (like air bnb but I feel like they have more for big parties), made some drinking games, and enjoyed some hiking and time together. It was nowhere near the original plan, but it was still nice!Bachelorette Party Ideas? 1

Thanks for these ideas! I love the Haunting of Hill House lol. April in Minnesota is a hit or miss so I'm trying to plan that there might be snow, so I don't know if it will be warm enough for a few of these things, but definitely some things to keep in mind.

It's a good idea to celebrate a bachelorette party at the hotel. by April, I think the quarantine will be relaxed and you will be able to celebrate.
I was celebrating my bachelorette party at the hotel when I got my engagement ring, and I lost it there hahaha
I was very ashamed in front of my fiance.
