Bachelorette party disappointment

Kristin, on April 10, 2017 at 10:43 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13

My girls kept asking what I wanted to do so I told them I wanted to go to the magic men live in Springfield mo. One of my bridesmaids doesn't want to go bc it's to close to her ex husband and his family. Another 2 of my bridesmaids are under age so they can't go. So it just leave me and my MOH. which that's fine I was just hoping it would be the 3 of us and I feel like we're just leaving her behind.

Why wouldn't you pick something for everyone to do? Why not let them pick something that works for al of them?

I'm not sure why you picked a place that two of your bridesmaids couldn't go.

If you really want you all to be together then pick somewhere else?

Plan a dinner first for a get together before the show, visit and have fun... Or if the show is far away plan a different day to have dinner with your other bridal party. My niece recently got married and had dinner first which I attended but wasn't insterested in a pottery painting class she planned for afterwards so I just went to the dinner.

Wow, why on earth would anyone plan an event knowing that some people cannot go?

Magic Men Live...sounds lovely....ha ha ha!

Why not watch Magic Mike the movie and have a spa night? My friend did that and it was a blast. We did manis/pedis and facials. It's a good compromise and then everyone can attend.

Why don't you and your MOH just plan a night out at the show?it could be before or after the wedding. (Not sure how far away springfield is from you). then plan something separate for your bachelorette party with everybody.

My MOH is 16 (my sister), so we will be having a nice dinner for the "bachelorette party." We'll go get mani pedis, go out to dinner and crash in a nice hotel with mud masks and trashy tv. Honestly, it's the perfect girls night for me.

BUT, a few of my friends that aren't in the bridal party will be throwing me a more traditional bachelorette party that involves a bit more alcohol for the rest of us.

I think it's a good idea to have something separate for the ones in your bridal party that aren't over age. Why not still go to the Magic Men Live show, but not call it your bachelorette party?

I think it is really odd that you can't find something for all your BM to do for your bachelorette party. If you are dead set on this magic men show then go with your friends NOT affiliated with your bachelorette party.

I don't get why you are saying you are disappointed when it's your fault they can't come. Pick an activity everyone can go to.
