I have been trying to research the best place to have my bachelorette party and really haven't had much luck... I live in NY close to NYC and don't want to ask people to travel too far or take a flight anywhere..

Looking for suggestion within driving distance to NYC (Under 5 hours preferably). The suggestions thrown out to me so far were LBI & Ocean City Maryland. I'm looking for a place that is known for a good party scene and close to beaches for either late May or June.

What? You don't plan your own bachelorette party. Your BMs do it for you. You have some input and you can make suggestions, but they ultimately decide what you do/where you go. You don't ask anyone to travel anywhere. If they offer, then great. But no.. just no.

I am well aware that I don't plan my own bachelorette party.. my MOH is pregnant and asked for my help and suggestions on where I would like to go. No need for your rude comments but thanks anyway

Okay, well has your whole BP agreed that they are all willing/can afford to travel? Why isn't your MOH talking to them about what they think? Because they're the ones paying. Will your pregnant MOH be willing to sit in a car for 5 hours for a party?

Also - that wasn't anywhere close to rude. lol you'll get a lot worse on this forum with questions like this.

I suggest like Rosemary said AC or even Cape Cod, MA, Newport RI, Block Island, RI, Martha Vineyard, MA - I see your wedding is in August so I would go to the beach!

Cape May, NJ. Congress Hall has a nice night club in it. Can't get much beaches than that and it's about a 2 1/2-3 hour drive.

DT Manhattan is fine if you're looking for "party scene" but if you're looking to get away there's always AC...I do agree that your BP should be taking care of this though. I've made bachelorette party suggestions, but my MOH is taking care of all of that.
