Bachelorette Party! Boring?

Jennifer, on May 16, 2012 at 3:54 PM Posted in Planning 0 12

Oh my! The "girls" have been questioning what we will be doing for a bachelorette party... Now due to the fact that I don't drink or really like the 'club scene' and I'm marrying a Pastor I decided to go a different route.... I told my girls that I would plan and they could pay to ensure proper Pastor's Wife Etiquette!

We will be going to lunch at the melting pot (Fondue Place) @ Station Square in PGH Pa then head out onto a duck tour... which is like a bus that goes around the city then out into the river (yes the bus goes in the river!) Then ride the Mon Incline up to the Mt Washington Overlook.

Here are some links to what we are doing check it out and see if you think it will be boring...

My girls think because there will be no to minimal drinking and dancing it will be boring!?!?

I'm not into the club scene either but I wouldn't want to ride around on a bus either.

It could be boring… if you have boring girls. Could you add a scavenger hunt or something? Or dare cards? Some sort of game while you're going through town would spice it up for them.

We aren't clubbing either… we're getting a driver and going wine tasting.

We didn't go to a club. We went to lunch and walked around in a trendy area of town, just checking out the shops. We all like that kinda thing. Then we went back to the house and had a little wine and boardgames. It was nice. We were also considering a spa day, if it helps.

Be careful with going paint balling too close to your wedding because it is easy to get welts and bruises,

The electronic catchphrase can fit in a purse and is fun and hysterical to play.

We dressed up in 80s prom clothes and did karaoke - minimal drinking (I drove one of the cars) and no dancing, but we had a blast and the girls involved decided to make it a tradition for future bachelorette parties (two more since mine and another this fall).

Hahahah! For some reason this post is funny to me. Well your friends should know you and as a pastors wife they should know what is appropriate according to your beliefs, my friends sure do know that. We arent doing anything fancy, i just keep telling my MOH(she is planning and not agreeing to give me any details) as long as I have my girlfriends with me, i'd be glad....its never boring when 7 of my closest friends come together and talk and laugh out loud, now we are expecting like 20 of them...it will be nothing close to boring, I am sure of that and still no alcohol. Bottom line: It wont be boring if your friends are not boring Smiley smile
