Bachelorette parties!!

Samantha, on April 17, 2020 at 10:29 PM Posted in Planning 0 10
Hi ladies,

I was just wondering what locations you have experienced for yours or your friends bachelorette parties and pros/cons. My MOH is asking me for suggestions and I just think of all the popular places such as vegas, miami, nashville, nola. I kind of want to experience a new place I've never been (ive been to Nashville and nola) so looking for options/opinons! Thanks in advance!! Smiley smile

Depends what kind of bachelorette you want. Do you want to be able to party hard, or relax and hang out?

Where do you live, when do you want to go?

Hey hey we did a co-ed Bachelor/Bachelorette down in New Orleans and it was fantastic. We had a blast! Go check out my post about it (made back in late September) if you want; as I named a few great places to eat and activities to do!

I’m going to Vegas. That’s where I’ve always wanted to have my bachelorette and it’s why I’ve waited so long to go. A friend of mine went for her birthday last summer and she said it was a really, really good time. There was always somewhere to go and something to do ( spas, bars, parties, tourist attractions). The only downside she said was that the heat was intense. I’m going in the winter so it’ll be much milder.

We were suppose to go to Dallas for mine but it got cancelled. Hopefully we can reschedule because I was looking forward to it! I’ve been to Atlantic City, Portland ME and Cape Cod for other parties though!

New Orleans is where I plan to have my bachelorette party. I have heard nothing but good things from everyone who has ever been.

We went to Scottsdale, Arizona and had a great time! We were able to do a spa day and do some bar hopping and karaoke as well. Highly recommend for a more laid back bachelorette (I am old and can't hang anymore lol)

I wanted to make mine close so my bridesmaid didn’t have to spend money on flights. My maid of honor is paying for a wedding herself, matron if honor has baby and new house, another bridesmaid has 2 kids etc. Also, I wanted my mom and her 2 best friends to join at least 1 night. So we made it in ocean city Maryland (we live in PA) and my moms 2 best friends live in a city about 30 minutes north of there. Consider your girls and their financial and family obligations while planning 😊

We did 3 days in Vegas. I live in SoCal so it was a regular spot for me (and most of my girls) during college and our 20s so it was fun to re-live those times. Lol

We stayed at the Venetian which has really large suites so my MOH got us two connecting suites. They’re fairly affordable and can fit a lot of girls.

We saw a show one night (I wanted my girls to see my absolute favorite vegas show, Absinthe. If you’re cool with crude and raunchy humor— see it! Everyone loved it!), gambled, ate nice dinners, my then-fiancé (now husband) treated us to a nice brunch at hexx for a bachelorette gift.
We did table service at XS one night— that table was comped due to connections we had, but honestly, if you have a large group of girls, you can usually get a free table. You just need to set it up with a promoter.
I also really wanted to do a day club and the Chainsmokers DJ were the resident DJs for Encore Beach Club last summer so I wanted to go. My girls were amazing and got us a cabana that Saturday (I was thinking of just doing general admissions 😂). Cabanas at EBC rarely go for free especially when the resident DJs are in high demand so they paid for that. I believe the minimum is like $5k (the total came out to like $7k after taxes and tip). We’re all in our late 20s/early 30s so no one wanted to wait at bars or to stand the whole time so the table made the most sense for our group. Also, we all were either married or in a serious relationship so hustling for drinks was off the table for us (we definitely saw other bridal parties making their rounds at the cabanas trying to get free drinks from guys and just be able to sit down).
There’s a ton to do in Vegas to fit whatever kind of bachelorette party you’re looking for. It was nice because we were able to do a mix of chill and crazy all in one trip.
