Bachelor/bachelorette Party

Hey Everyone,
Out of curiosity, how do you guys feel about having a combined bachelor/bachelorette party?

In my my opinion I think it’ll be fun and plan on doing this if my love agrees to it. It’s still up for discussion. Lol.

We’re having ours tomorrow! We all have the same friend group, and it’s not like we’re doing anything the other person wouldn’t like. We’re just having friends over for drinks and games!

I think it depends on the bride and groom. We wanted to do our own thing but we have lots of overlapping guests between the two parties. I could see a combo party being a fun

We are having like a picnic like thing with guys vs girls. Tug a war, giant Jenna, water ballon fight then we are going to go go carting and painting ball.

We chose not to go this route. We both like the same things but felt this is supposed to be spent apart. He went camping with with groomsmen a few weeks ago and had a blast, I'll be wine tasting with my ladies next month. I like the thought of having a weekend of just girls one last time.

It really dependable in activities! We originally wanted a combined thing but he’s more into relaxed activities (dinner, movie night) whereas I’m more into something more active (Disneyland, clubbing) so it made sense to split the trips

i had a friend that attended a bridal party retreat where they rented a cabin and they just hung out and got to know each other. She said she really enjoyed it, especially since some bridal parties usually don’t interact with each other before and after the wedding

We've actually discussed doing two parties! One with just girls/just guys as I want to have a spa/pool day and he wants to go paint balling! But our wedding party and friends group are all very close so we want to get everyone together the next weekend and just go out for the evening. Since our separate parties are more nontraditional activities (ie not looking to go out and get trashed Smiley tongue ) we figured we could get away with doing that for the group party. Another thing we had discussed was a bach where I spend the day with the guys and he spends the day with my girls. But we can only have so many parties!

Hey there! Did you and your partner decide to have a combined bach? Or are you celebrating separately? What is your SO's take on it? Do you share a lot of the same friends?

Hate the idea. The point is a last night got out that us not about you as a couple, but about you enjoying time with your own personal friends. You have your whole married life to go out with couples. I would skip and couples bachelorette, as I think there are enough couples things.
