We are in the awful position of realizing FH's bachelor party is falling through the cracks. His groomsmen aren't very organized, and the close friend he appointed to organize the event (since he lives in the area they were planning on going to) isn't doing much. The original plan was to book a cabin in Northern New England for a few days, do some boating, fishing, have some quality man-time, with 1 big night out. The party-planning-friend made the mistake of inviting a big group of college friends, before knowing the estimated cost, putting guys in the backwards scenario of not knowing what they were signing up for cost-wise. The cabin still has yet to be found, so the majority of party-goers are RSVPing no, since they don't know how much it will cost them. We explored area hotels, which are even more expensive (damn leaf-peeping season lol), and seem to be running out of options. Has anyone run into a similar situation? I hate seeing FH disappointed
