Bachelor and bachelorette party on the same weekend?

I want my bachelorette party on the same weekend as when my fiancé has his but our friends' scheduling is conflicting with the weekend we want. Is it customary to have the same weekend?

It doesn't have to be on the same weekend at all. My bachelorette party is weekend of July 18-20 while FH will be the following weekend.

It's really based on availability and what your bridal party wants to do for you.

It doesn't have to be. We're doing it the same weekend to just make it one trip to Vegas.

We don't have an option, so ours will not only be the same weekend, they're the same NIGHT. And they're the night before the wedding. Thank goodness for 6/7pm ceremonies, lol

We haven't gotten into the details but I would want to do it on the same weekend. Just so none of us are bored when the other is having their party.
