So I'm helping to plan a friend's baby shower and I was just wondering what all of you thought of some of my inspirations-- I love planning showers, etc! If it wasn't tacky, I would have done my own bridal shower too! If you have ever been to a baby shower, what did you wish they had that they didn't (or vice versa)? If you have had a baby shower, what was your favorite/least favorite thing about it! Thanks in advance!

I love diaper cakes, they are sooo adorable. I hope someone gets me one when the time arises.

I loved my diaper cake. It was a monkey themed one. We also had a great cake with an animal theme

I loved getting alot of diaper wipes and shampoo. But I wish the diapers I got werent dollar store diapers (my son was allergic.)
Also I didnt get the main things, i had to get them. But i wasnt expecting them to get me those things.

Best things I got was my son's crib, and a $100 gift card to baby depot. We needed to get his playpen and that paid for it. Most of the other stuff was clothes. Best game was a name game with the original origins of common names.

I like to play lots of games. And I always do a diaper cake!!

I like to have the guests play games like:
Baby Shower Bingo
Name that Baby Food(using baby fruits)
Dress the Baby(for the guys-using teddy bears, diapers, and baby clothes)
Measure the Belly(String or ribbon can be used)
Candy Buffet is a nice touch..a theme can make it easier to find items. Nice color choices! Good music, food and cake always helps too!

We had so much fun at mine!
People filled out advice cards, I still go through them every once in a while, so fun and heart-warming
