Azazie?

Shellycherea, on November 28, 2017 at 4:29 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 20

Does anyone have any experience with this site? As far as I can see, their reviews are pretty solid but I would like more feedback in regard to the quality of the dresses. Also, what's the return policy like? I would like my girls to choose a dress that works best for them and I thought this site could be a good choice. Let me know your thoughts!

Yes! One of the bridesmaids in my wedding purchased a dress from them. I don't remember the return policy, but you can check their site. I do know it sometimes take 4-6 weeks to receive a dress, though. Azazie offers a free swatch of their fabric in any color you choose. I received the color I wanted within a week. It allowed me to color match with another site, so I just messaged all the girls what length and color they had to go with for each site and they picked their own dress. It was very easy and allowed them to pick something they feel good in.

@Samantha What other site did you use? Also, do you only get one free swatch or can you get multiple?

We got a handful of swatches ($1 a piece?) and picked favorite colors. We ended up with dark navy, ink blue and stormy and I love the way they looked! The ladies were all super comfortable too.

I just ordered swatches from them and I think I paid $1-2 for them. Not free. But anyway, I don't have any advice to offer bc I've never used them otherwise but I read good things about them on this forum all the time.

Azazie is awesome! All of my BM, MOH, and MOG purchased their dresses from there and they were beautiful! My ladies not only loved the dresses but the experience as well. They were able to pick their own dresses which I could see in my virtual "showroom"! Several of them did the at home dress samples of different dresses so they could pick the dress they felt was perfect for them. They also received a very nice garment bag for free with their dresses! I can't say enough wonderful things about Azazie!

@Terri how does the virtual showroom work? If I make an account, all my BMs can access it? Or would they all have to make a separate account? Due to Nikki's advice about the dye, I think I would like to order them at the same time.

My ladies' dresses shipped just this week! I can't speak to the quality of the dress quite yet, but my BMs did appreciate the ability to choose from such a large variety and most of them chose to take advantage of the custom order using their measurements. So far, so good!

I also found a promo code that they were offering at the time that allowed me to get one free swatch, which happened to be all I needed. So definitely see if you can google a current promo code!

@Michelle - after you set up your account click on showroom. There is an invite button that you would use to email your ladies the link to the showroom. They would be setting up separate accounts but because they use the code you send them they are linked to your showroom. As they "favorite" dresses they show up in your showroom. My only requirement for my ladies was all the dresses had to be long, in any fabric other than satin, taffeta or charmeuse (because there would definitely be some color differences there), BM had to pick the color Pearl Pink while my MOH had to pick "Cabernet", the MOG could pick either. Once they make their final choice, they had to remove all the dresses they didn't pick from the showroom.

I'm gonna be an outlier here. I was MOH for my BFFs wedding last Feb and she originally suggested Azazie. I ordered based on my size and measurements, it took a while to receive (like a month and half) and it didn't fit AT ALL. The top was huge, waist couldn't even get on me, and the bottom was sooooo long. I had to return it. Luckily, they gave me a full refund. I ended up with a lovely dress from Show Me Your MuMu -- sounds dumb but they have gorgeous dresses with an elastic band so it will pretty much fit anyone. You'd really have to have people get every single measurement down to order, but it did not work for me. I felt like a sausage in it. Which sucks because the style was gorgeous.

I began by looking at Azazie, but they didn't have the color I want (Tiffany Blue), so I kept looking and found DaisyFormal. If you're still shopping around, Daisy Formal has very similar prices to Azazie (cheaper for what I'm leaning toward, actually), and they seriously have THE nicest and most personable customer service I ever expected to het from just ordering swatches!!! I got 5 free and just paid shipping (as part of a deal when I first visited their site). They may do the free swatches for everyone, so if you're interested in checking them out, maybe they can send you free swatches too (up to 5)!

Thank you everyone. This has all been so helpful. In addition to Amazon, im going to look into the other retailers and David’s Bridal.

Azazie is great! All of my girls ordered from them and we've all been impressed with the quality (even the seamstress my sister took hers to for a hem was talking about how nice they were!). Also I can't say enough about their awesome customer service! One of my BM's dress was lost in the mail- they opened an inquiry with Fed Ex, and when it couldn't be found, they rushed her a new dress, no charge. We've all been very happy with them.
